Hôtel ibis Styles Clermont-Ferrand Gare

Great location for train travellers as it’s right opposite Clermont-Ferrand railway station. Very helpful and welcoming staff; my wife, at the time, was a wheelchair user and they were very keen to help us. The lift was big enough for a wheel chair and supporter. Room was great and comfortable with a nice shower. Electric shutters were handy. Great breakfast. The best loo paper that we’ve come across on our travels across France this year - nice and wide and thick! For an evening meal the Hotel Commercants next door is excellent - a great choice of food and it’s used by locals which is always a good sign.

Very friendly staff, convenient location if travelling by train, quiet rooms. They offered full breakfast with very early check-out, what a nice surprise! Breakfast was excellent with fresh products.

On-site parking (small charge) was great after a long journey. Was greeted by a friendly face who was happy to help. Short walk to the cathedral area. Clean, comfortable room and plentiful supply of breakfast available.

I chose this hotel because it was very near the station and being an Ibis I could be sure of a reliable and reasonably-priced hotel. It felt safe for a woman travelling alone. The breakfast room was quite basic but the food was good and regularly restocked. My room was quiet.

good sized quiet triple room with great views on 6th floor. Good breakfast though busy. Good parking. Short 15min walk to historic centre. Reception gave good restaurant recommendations and were v helpful including on the phone.
